According to the public relations report of the Pasargad Energy Development Group, Taban Pasargad Damqan solar power plant set a new record in the monthly and daily production of solar power plants in the country.

Yaser Mirzaei, CEO of Taban Energy Pasargad Industrial Development Company, stated that Taban Pasargad Damqan solar power plant set a new record in the monthly production of solar power plants in the country with the production of 2440MW in May. Solar power plant in Yazd province produces 2290MW per month. Also, with a daily production of more than 100 megawatts, a new record in daily energy production was recorded in solar power plants in the country on the 15th of May. The previous record was for the same plant with a daily production of 90MW.

He also stated that the new record of energy production in the country's solar power plants has been set by Taban Pasargad Damqan power plant while the amount of solar radiation energy in Yazd province is about 5% more than Semnan province and Taban Pasargad Damqan power plant is in two phases including phase The first one has a capacity of two megawatts with a fixed structure and one-way panels, and the second one has a capacity of eight megawatts and is equipped with a solar tracking system and bifacial panels.

In explaining the advantages of this power plant compared to other solar power plants, he stated that the second phase of this power plant is the first bifacial power plant equipped with a solar tracking system with an internal design in the country, which increases energy production by about 50 percent compared to other power plants. Solar is similar to the fixed structure.
